Football fans, rejoice! The Digital Sports Museum of Switzerland has partnered with adesso Group to present an online exhibition, 'EvoFootball 50', that celebrates the Golden Age of sports video games with a focus on the Champions League. The exhibition offers a unique, 3D immersive experience for football and gaming fans alike, taking them on a journey through the history of football-themed video games from their first release in 1973 to present day.

adesso will be supporting Deutsche Welle with the further development, redesign, and modernisation of its websites, apps and editorial systems in the years to come. The IT service provider has won the competitive bidding for a framework agreement. adesso will be supporting DW, the German state-owned international broadcaster, in the further development and redevelopment of its web portals and mobile apps until 2024 at least. Modernisation of the learngerman.dw.com learning portal is also part of the agreement. In the process, adesso will be contributing its expertise on the topics of accessibility, evading censorship, search engine optimisation and data protection.

The health and travel insurers of the Versicherungskammer (VKB) Group (Bayerische Beamtenkrankenkasse and Union Krankenversicherung) have opted for the software of adesso insurance solutions to modernize the proposal and policy systems of their private health insurance. After an intensive selection process with several joint workshops and a technical proof of concept, the insurance group chose in|sure Health Policy (including the in|sure Health Collective modules) for its collective business, and in|sure Proposal Health for its proposal system.

adesso SE is acquiring a 51 % stake in WEPEX GmbH, a management consultancy specialising in capital market and securities business. The investment follows a successful multi-year collaboration between the two parties and means that WEPEX, which was founded in 2003 and is based in Frankfurt am Main, will become part of the adesso Group.

After Neumünster, this is the second adesso office in the state of Schleswig-Holstein and the company’s 32nd location in Germany overall. adesso is acquiring WebScience, an Italian company with around 100 employees and most recent sales of almost EUR 10 million in the past year. The takeover of the thriving software company reinforces adesso’s branch office adesso Italia in Milan, opened in autumn 2021. The WebScience team and its customers in Italy will benefit from the synergies of the adesso Group’s Europe-wide business in the future.
