The founding of adesso Spain – consultoría y soluciones tecnológicas, S.L. marks another milestone in the company’s internationalisation. adesso is pursuing the goal of continuing its trajectory of growth in the long term to become a leading information technology consulting group throughout Europe.
Spain was a targeted location choice as, according to IWF information, Spain was the fourteenth largest economy worldwide in 2016 with high demand for services in the fields of communications and information technology. Spain’s gross national product recorded growth of 3.1 % last year, meaning that it ranks fifth amongst the 28 EU member states.
Dr Rüdiger Striemer is in charge of adesso’s international subsidiary business. He explains the decision to expand to this location: “With adesso Spain, we immediately gain an important mainstay in south-western Europe, where we will have the opportunity to tap new markets in the Mediterranean and in South America in the medium term.”
