adesso Partners With Anthropic to Scale Agent-Based Software Engineering for its Customers

adesso SE is now a Select Partner in the Claude Partner Network Services Tier. The German IT service provider is among the first companies worldwide in the Select Tier. adesso, the IT service provider with more than 12,000 employees, uses Claude both within its own organisation and in client projects - including for code analysis, code generation, architectural support and process automation.

200 Certified Experts

More than 200 AI experts at adesso SE are currently acquiring the ‘Claude Certified Architect Foundation’ (CCA-F) qualification, which validates that they can scope and design Claude-based solutions: selecting the right model and deployment platform, framing agentic versus single-shot architectures, and accounting for evaluation, cost, and responsible deployment from day one.

adSCAILE: Claude as a Component of Agent-Based Software Development

With adSCAILE (adesso Smart Cycle for AI-enhanced Lightweight Software Engineering), adesso uses its own process for agent-based software development in client projects. The principle: agents handle the implementation, humans the steering. Instead of traditional developer sprints lasting several weeks, development cycles of two to four days are now possible. Claude Code plays a central role in this software development approach, powering the code generation, refactoring and testing tasks that agents carry out within each cycle. For example, when developing the einfachNetz SaaS platform for its client TransnetBW, adesso achieved productivity gains of up to 60% thanks to the agentic-based approach adopted in the project.

Lukasz Chlipala, Head of Partnerships DACH at Anthropic, says: “By pairing Claude with adesso’s expertise in software deployment, we can help organisations across industries achieve real impact with Claude. This partnership is an important step towards establishing Claude as a reliable foundation for professional AI implementations in German-speaking countries.”

Joining the Claude Partner Network underscores adesso’s commitment to supporting customers across all industries as a certified partner on their journey towards agent-based enterprise management.

“2026 is the year in which agent-based AI will find its way into processes, teams and business models across all sectors. Thanks to our adSCAILE software development approach, we're at the heart of it all,” says Benedikt Bonnmann, member of the Executive Board of adesso SE. “It is not a letter of intent that connects us with Anthropic, but a collaboration that has already proven its worth in customer projects. The partnership, which has now been formalised, is simply a logical consequence of this.”
