Flitcon GmbH, which has been purchased by adesso, is an independent SAS Silver Partner and develops high-performance solutions for the business analytics and business intelligence software made by SAS. With a team of 15 specialists, flitcon supports companies from all industries in making new plans a reality and optimising existing SAS environments. flitcon’s Metadata Viewer analyses all SAS metadata and converts it into graphs to make complex relationships visually understandable.
adesso AG has retroactively taken over flitcon in full with effect from 1 July 2016. The 15 Düren-based specialists will subsequently be integrated into adesso’s office in Cologne. Frank Leisten, Managing Director and founder of flitcon, will become Head of Business Intelligence (BI) at adesso. Co-Managing Director Marius Gödtel will take over the new BI IT Consulting Competence Center.
The takeover by adesso opens up new development opportunities for flitcon employees and offers them the chance to join complex major projects for high-profile clients. In return, adesso is able to offer its clients an expanded business intelligence portfolio, especially in the company’s core industries of banking and insurance.
