By restructuring this division, adesso is making it clear that artificial intelligence is no longer just one component of its portfolio, but rather the unifying principle for data, intelligence and automation. At the heart of the Data and AI Business Line is a clear understanding of AI: it isn’t an add-on – it’s the foundation of adesso’s activities. Data and AI combines data strategy, data engineering, analytics and BI with machine learning, generative AI and agentic systems – complemented by process mining and automation using RPA, no-code and low-code solutions.
The agentic enterprise is the central focus here: it refers to a company in which AI not only analyses but also acts independently. Data moves from analysis to action – from AI assistants that support employees in their day-to-day work, through data-driven decisions in specialist departments, to agents that autonomously orchestrate entire process chains.
Data and AI focuses on key topics that are currently developing into strategic priorities in many companies. Customers receive bespoke support, depending on the maturity level of the company. The service portfolio ranges from the development and operation of fully GenAI-based assistants and agentic solutions that are embedded in existing IT and data landscapes, to AI applications in data and analytics landscapes in the SAP environment, and the assessment of AI maturity on the journey to becoming an agentic enterprise, which provides a foundation for the structural development and entry into first use cases.
This focus is a continuation of the Data and AI Business Line’s previous focus and underlines its excellent technology know-how. adesso works as a vendor-neutral IT service provider with all relevant technology partners to find the best solution for customers in each project. The range of services is complemented by further developments based on agentic AI, such as adSCAILE, the framework for agentic software development, as well as the adesso AI Hub, an AI governance platform for companies with sovereignty requirements.
