It was a very special moment for adesso when senior UX designer Michael Schiblon started his new position on 2 January 2018 – because Schiblon is adesso’s 3,000th employee. This figure symbolises the huge increase in the number of employees at the IT provider which is systematically implementing its ambitious growth plans.

If composite insurers want to ensure their future viability, they must be in control of exponential increases in data volumes and have a command of methods for analysing them. That was the result of a recent study carried out by adesso insurance solutions and Versicherungsforen Leipzig (Leipzig Insurance Forums).

adesso AG has been awarded a fourth agile fixed-price project by the Society for Musical Performance and Mechanical Reproduction Rights (GEMA – Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte): The MAVI project will involve adesso adapting the in-house development MARS to GEMA’s new system environment, which is currently being established. The project has a term of 20 months and a contract volume of EUR 2.4 million.

By securing another project, adesso AG is establishing itself as a strategic IT partner for the Society of Musical Performing and Mechanical Reproduction Rights (GEMA). Following the successful completion of the Trinity project, adesso has now been assigned with modernising the company’s online service for music users. This marks the third project in two years that the society has awarded adesso.

In the future, ADVOCARD will be relying on the Heuristic Claims Management solution to automatically process its new claims. This statistically based method developed by adesso insurance solutions can be used to automatically read and process lawyers’ unstructured requests for coverage. From the end of 2018 on, a higher percentage of ADVOCARD Rechtsschutzversicherung AG’s new written claims will be processed in this way.
