adesso digital day 2021: IT requires reinvention

IT rocks the stadium. It’s not football but the digitalisation of society that will be enjoying the limelight at BVB Stadion Dortmund on 9 September 2021. adesso, official sponsor of the Borussia Dortmund youth sector and women’s team, is hosting this year’s adesso digital day at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund. The focus this year is on the digital transformation, with topics such as what is already happening, what will shape competition tomorrow, what a successful business transformation looks like and why sustainability is more important than ever.


adesso steps up its efforts to foster new talent

With the new training year just around the corner, the number of junior staff at adesso now totals 580 – including 21 young apprentices and students on cooperative degree programmes, who are now embarking on their professional careers. Professionally oriented training is a crucial element of adesso’s efforts to foster new talent, which it has been able to maintain at the same high level of the previous year in spite of the pandemic.


adesso launches its new iGaming platform LotteryForce

With LotteryForce, the IT service provider adesso is releasing the latest generation of iGaming platform on the market. LotteryForce provides lottery companies around the world with the opportunity to manage a wide range of games on all channels – from classic lotto to keno, scratch cards or sports betting. Young BVB talent gets an insight into the working world of digitalisation

A unique away game of sorts for the BVB youth teams: as the official sponsor of the Borussia Dortmund Youth Sector, adesso yesterday welcomed the young players from the BVB youth performance centre. The footballers aged 13 to 17 were given the opportunity to have a taste of what it is like to work for an IT service provider. A one-day workshop offering vocational experience was on the agenda, which provided the young players with an insight into the world of work away from the football pitch.


Christoph Junge named Head of Corporate Development and M&A

adesso has hired a familiar face to fill the newly created position of Head of Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions: after nearly two years away from adesso, former Chief Financial Officer Christoph Junge (51) is returning to the company. In this role, the experienced executive will be in charge of overseeing the further international expansion and development of the adesso Group.


Sven Krüger named Chief Marketing Officer of adesso

After expanding its Executive Board earlier this year, the rapidly growing adesso SE has now filled a further C-level position, with Sven Krüger set to become the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

adesso to be the main and shirt sponsor for Borussia Dortmund’s woman’s football team

From the 2021/22 season, adesso will act as the official main and shirt sponsor for Borussia Dortmund’s new woman’s football team. Between now and 2023, the women of Borussia Dortmund (BVB) will bear the name of the Dortmund-based IT service provider on their shirts at home and away matches.
