Retail Agenda 2025: adesso presents its digitalisation portfolio for the retail market at the German Retail Congress in Berlin

Retail is experiencing fundamental changes. Buzzwords like multi-channel strategy, seamless retail experience, personalised customer engagement and voice commerce dominate the industry. The success of online retail is forcing brick-and-mortar businesses to reposition themselves. Integrated digitalisation with an eye on the fusion of the online and offline world is the motto. Not doing so runs the risk of letting our inner cities decay and decline, experts warn. As an IT service provider, adesso offers solutions for retail to secure its future viability and presents its portfolio for the first time at the German Retail Congress in Berlin.

Supporting companies with online concepts, mobile applications or CRM systems is part of adesso’s traditional IT business. The retail portfolio that adesso will be presenting to a large specialist audience for the first time enables an enhancement of the “customer journey” for both businesses and customers. The purchasing processes have changed fundamentally due to new business models. Consumption is increasingly shifting to the Internet, significantly benefiting online-only retailers.

The retail industry cannot simply stand idly by and watch the development.   • Automation of product information: Automated management of product data supports the core processes of retailers, making a harmonious customer experience possible across all channels. This ensures consistency and a uniform appearance instead of data chaos and customer confusion.
