This follows last year’s five-year extension to CEO Michael Kenfenheuer’s (58) contract, with the Supervisory Board pledging its commitment to the successful three-man management team and opting for long-term continuity in the company’s leadership.
Christoph Junge is a member of the Executive Board and responsible for Finance, Human Resources, Administration, Legal Affairs and Mergers & Acquisitions. He is also in charge of the adesso shareholdings alleato assekuranzmakler GmbH and percision services GmbH and is the CFO of e-Spirit AG. As CFO of adesso AG, Christoph Junge has been a key factor for over ten years in establishing a solid financial basis for business at adesso and, as head of human resources, also in positioning adesso as one of Germany’s top employers. The M&A strategy implemented under his stewardship supports the strong organic growth generated by adesso Group.
Andreas Prenneis joined the adesso Executive Board in April 2015. He is now responsible for the Automotive & Transportation, Cross Industries, Energy Industry, Public Administration, Microsoft and IT Management Consulting business areas. In addition, Prenneis is also in charge of adesso shareholdings adesso as a service GmbH and adesso mobile solutions GmbH. Under his management, the latest core industry – Automotive & Transportation – and public administration business have been significantly expanded. In addition, he also masterminded a number of growth initiatives in other business areas and industries.
In German-speaking countries, adesso Group has become one of the leading IT consulting and software development companies with annual sales of over EUR 260 million in 2016. The supplementary product strategy, in the form of developing an in-house standard software range for the entire insurance sector, is also running according to schedule, with two of four sector products completed. By re-affirming the appointments of Kenfenheuer, Junge and Prenneis, the Supervisory Board has placed great trust in the Executive Board regarding the continued expansion of core business and additional product business.
