adesso achieves GenAI sales target for 2024 already in August
adesso announces a milestone in its Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) business. With more than 100 GenAI projects completed in August, the IT service provider has already reached its target for the calendar year 2024. The company anticipates a further increase in demand for GenAI solutions at the end of the year and aims to double its current revenue by the full year. adesso's GenAI customers include EnBW, RWE and BayernLB.

New SBF 2.0 administrative procedure: adesso boosts the efficiency of urban development funding in Bavaria
adesso, one of the leading IT service providers in Germany, has successfully implemented a new web application for the funding of urban development for the Bavarian State Ministry for Housing, Construction and Transport (StMB). The StMB and seven district councils in Bavaria have been working with the new IT-based urban development funding procedure, known as Städtebauförderung 2.0 (SBF 2.0) since March 2024. The procedure is used to manage urban development projects and funding. The former procedure was used to approve around seven billion euros in funding from the European Union, the federal government and the state of Bavaria for Bavarian cities, towns and municipalities.

A boost for business: Sachsenlotto and adesso launch second chance portal “GlüXBooster”
adesso and Sächsische Lotto-GmbH (Sachsenlotto) have successfully launched “GlüXBooster”, Germany’s first second-chance portal for scratchcards. With this new web-based add-on game, Sachsenlotto customers now have additional chances of winning with all scratchcards purchased at its points of sale. The lottery operator expects the new web portal and corresponding platform to first and foremost boost customer loyalty. In addition, Sachsenlotto aims to learn more about its customers at the point of sale by adding a digital opportunity to win to its terrestrial scratch cards, to draw conclusions for product marketing.

tradegate.direct: adesso and Tradegate AG set up new trading app
adesso has launched the new service tradegate.direct in collaboration with Tradegate AG. The trading app enables private investors to trade for the first time free of charge and without third-party costs via Tradegate Exchange. The emphasis is on a straightforward, user-friendly trading experience. adesso was responsible for developing the web app, the mobile applications for iOS and Android, and the backend system on which they are based. tradegate.direct has been online since summer 2024.

adesso named “Best in Class” in the PAC INNOVATION RADAR evaluation of AI-related services in Germany
adesso is one of the leading providers of AI-related services in Germany. This has been confirmed by the consultancy firm Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC) in the current PAC INNOVATION RADAR “Leaders in AI-related Services in Germany”. The analysts awarded the IT service provider the top rating of “Best in Class”. adesso performed particularly well in the areas of reference projects, platform coverage for artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI (GenAI), as well as in its collaboration with research institutes and in terms of transparency.

Digital relaunch with adesso: Borussia Dortmund’s new website celebrates its season debut
Borussia Dortmund (BVB) is one of the most well-known and popular football clubs at an international level. Surveys in 2023 showed that alone in Germany, around 14 million people said they were very interested in BVB. Interest in BVB is growing from year to year, and this is reflected in the number of members, which now stands at over 200,000. The club is committed to meeting the high demand for information by its fans and members, as well as its sponsors and partners, while also offering services that meet the highest technical standards. That is why together with adesso, its long-standing partner in the field of digitalisation, the Bundesliga club has completely overhauled its website, BVB.de, which was relaunched in June 2024.

Leading light: adesso implements smart cloud CRM at ERCO
IT service provider adesso will be providing lighting manufacturer ERCO with a new customer relationship management (CRM) system in the coming months. ERCO, a leading international manufacturer of architectural lighting, will be equipped with the high-performance new SAP Sales Cloud Version 2. This will replace the on-premises SAP solution previously used at ERCO and link sales more closely with marketing as part of its company-wide digitalisation strategy. The aim is to increase the efficiency and transparency of sales processes and optimise collaboration across divisions. The project was launched in April and is due to be implemented by the end of 2024.
