After a strong first half of the year, adesso SE is on track to achieving its growth forecast for 2021 as a whole. The adesso Group increased its sales by 31 % year on year in the first half of 2021 to reach a new half-year high of EUR 322.4 million. Over 25 percentage points of that growth were generated organically. The first half of the previous year was negatively impacted by the pandemic, especially in the second quarter. In 2021, however, adesso has been able to play to its strengths as a sought-after partner for digital transformation in all industries, benefiting in the process from the marked increase in personnel in the previous quarters.
DFB GmbH concludes agreement with IT service provider adesso: adesso be-comes Strategic Partner of the Business Unit IT & Digital of DFB GmbH
adesso will support the topics of transformation and digitalization as a strategic partner of the IT & Digital division of DFB GmbH. The key parameters of the partner-ship were defined in a framework agreement with DFB GmbH, which has been con-cluded for the next four-and-a-half years.
The BMW Group has chosen adesso as its partner for the company’s agile transformation. A unique away game of sorts for the BVB youth teams: as the official sponsor of the Borussia Dortmund Youth Sector, adesso yesterday welcomed the young players from the BVB youth performance centre. The footballers aged 13 to 17 were given the opportunity to have a taste of what it is like to work for an IT service provider. A one-day workshop offering vocational experience was on the agenda, which provided the young players with an insight into the world of work away from the football pitch.
adesso has hired a familiar face to fill the newly created position of Head of Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions: after nearly two years away from adesso, former Chief Financial Officer Christoph Junge (51) is returning to the company. In this role, the experienced executive will be in charge of overseeing the further international expansion and development of the adesso Group.
After expanding its Executive Board earlier this year, the rapidly growing adesso SE has now filled a further C-level position, with Sven Krüger set to become the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
