Great Place to Work uses two key tools in order to determine the most attractive employer from the employees’ perspective. Firstly, it surveys employees anonymously on key workplace issues such as management, trust in collaboration, identification, team spirit, professional development, remuneration, health promotion and work-life balance. Secondly, it evaluates the quality of the measures that an organisation uses in its personnel activities to support and encourage its employees.
adesso was able to further improve its results in many categories compared to the last time it participated two years ago. The IT specialist did particularly well in the areas of team spirit, fairness, respect and pride. The full 100 percent of employees indicated to Great Place to Work that new employees feel welcome at adesso, and 99 percent stated that the work environment is friendly. Ninety-seven percent said that management personnel trust employees to do their job well without checking up on them constantly. Ninety-five percent indicated that adesso is a “very good workplace”.
The IT service provider not only numbers among the best employers in Germany within its industry; the company was also honoured in the cross-industry “Germany’s best employers 2018” competition. In that competition, adesso took fourth place nationwide in the category “501 to 2,000 employees”.
