Standardisation of interfaces for connection partners

The challenge

HDI’s architectural goal was to standardise the range of different interfaces it used to have between external connection partners and the HDI systems. This connection was designed to establish a uniform method of communication to third parties and to version the calls.

The solution

The input interface for the connection partners was standardised using BiPRO solutions and the X4 adapter as the central input gate. In addition, the complete TAA route was implemented using web services for the BiPRO standards 421, 423 and 426, which made it possible to achieve e2e processing. adesso assumed responsibility for the requirements and test management as part of the connection partners’ link to the web services and the web service implementations.

Similarly, the 430 standard was designed via a new IT route within the connectivity management. adesso largely provided support in the design and test management.
