The CentrO shopping and leisure complex was opened in 1996 and is one of the biggest redevelopment projects in the entire Ruhr region to date. With almost 119,000 m² of retail space, it is one of Europe’s largest shopping and leisure complexes. The two levels of the shopping centre are home to over 220 retailers.
Browsing, amazement and play – these are what CentrO wanted its app to offer visitors to the shopping complex. Navigation aids should enable the over 23 million annual visitors to find their way around the shops more easily, and entertaining features should make the app even more appealing to use.
CentrO’s customers can use the app to access detailed information about the shops at the centre. Data interfaces in the app’s back-end allow the CentrO team to update the content themselves. An intelligent tracking system shows the company which coupons the users are redeeming and how often they take part in competitions.
