Sixth Title in a Row: adesso Wins the 2026 BigData-Insider Platinum Award

The IT service provider adesso has won the 2026 BigData-Insider Award in the “Big Data Consulting” category. Readers of Vogel IT-Medien’s specialist portals voted the company into first place for the sixth consecutive time. Christian Mertens, Business Line Lead for Data and AI, and Heiko Gronwald, Business Unit Lead for Data Platform Solutions, accepted the Platinum trophy on behalf of adesso at a gala ceremony in Augsburg.

The sixth consecutive Platinum Award is a valuable endorsement of adesso’s position at the forefront, even amid fast-moving market developments. Agentic AI in particular is dramatically changing the landscape and gaining relevance across all sectors. AI agents are taking on tasks in business processes and in software development. As a result, the demands on the data they work with are increasing. Companies need to know where information comes from, who is authorised to access it and where it is stored.
