In the new adesso orange AG, IT service provider adesso has created one of Germany’s leading SAP specialist firms, a company that can draw on the know-how and experience of a current total of about 300 SAP experts. Some 200 employees come from QUANTO AG, in which adesso recently acquired a 72 percent majority stake. In the past few weeks, the team has grown by about 100 adesso employees specialised in consulting and development in the area of SAP ERP core products. In the medium term, plans call for adesso orange to grow to 500 experts and act as a leading SAP consultancy, supporting companies from across all industries in their SAP projects.

adesso pools SAP expertise together at new company adesso orange AG
QUANTO AG, which is majority owned by adesso, was joined in the past few weeks by about 100 SAP experts from the mother company and is now doing business under the name adesso orange AG as of 1 April 2021. The newest adesso subsidiary was formed to assist corporate customers with projects in the SAP segment.
“After the SAP specialists from adesso and QUANTO already worked together successfully in the past on large-scale strategic projects involving banks and insurance firms and in the energy sector, they can now handle corporate customers’ really large projects in the SAP segment together under a single roof,” says Andreas Prenneis, member of the Executive Board of adesso SE and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of adesso orange AG.
Frank Beck, member of the Executive Board of adesso orange, adds: “The new adesso orange AG will allow us to position ourselves as a leading German SAP consultancy specifically in the energy and financial services sectors and become a key player in the SAP core segment. By making this move, we are pursuing several aims, including the goal of participating in the dynamic growth of the SAP S/4HANA market.”

By the end of 2023, plans call for adesso orange to become a wholly owned subsidiary of adesso SE and thus be completely part of the adesso Group.
