In this newly extended partnership, adesso is rapidly expanding its ten-strong team by adding specific expertise on Luminous, Aleph Alpha’s multimodal AI language model. Support for the team will also come from over 100 AI specialists from adesso’s various business areas.
adesso is currently implementing ten different projects based on Aleph Alpha technology. The IT service provider has taken its experiences from these projects and fed them into a framework and prototype model to make integrating generative AI into future projects significantly easier. This will allow businesses and public authorities to embed Luminous in their applications and processes more quickly, assisting employees in their everyday tasks and speeding up workflows.
adesso and Aleph Alpha will now be working together even more closely across the board. As a result, adesso will gain deeper insights into AI technology and its evolution, while Aleph Alpha will benefit from valuable feedback on the integration and use of Luminous in real-world settings.
Growing demand for AI from Europe
Many companies and public authorities want to unlock the benefits of generative AI but are hampered by the fact that popular solutions like ChatGPT and Bard are based in the United States and do not meet European data protection standards.
Aleph Alpha, based in Heidelberg, offers an innovative alternative with Luminous, a product that operates transparently and does not transfer any data outside of Germany. In its third funding round at the beginning of November 2023, the AI start-up raised more than USD 500 million to drive forward the development and marketing of a trusted generative AI solution.
