The Digital Laboratory

Together we increase the efficiency of your laboratory

Don’t use just any solution, find the right one for your laboratory

Every laboratory is different; each has its own unique challenges and problems. Accordingly, there cannot be only one solution for all laboratory digitalisations. That’s why we offer personalized advice and hands-on support.

Our lab experts work together with you to find the perfect solution for your laboratory. We analyse, evaluate, and discuss your individual processes, their optimisation potential, and the expected total increase in efficiency. This enables fast and informed management decisions. If existing laboratory tools aren’t an optimal solution, we will work together with you to create a custom software to meet your unique challenges and to enable the specialists in your laboratories to do their best work. Of course, we keep regulatory requirements for each project in mind and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Challenges of Laboratory Digitisation

In our projects, we see various challenges and obstacles but also great opportunities. The requirements of many of our customers are often similar at the core:

  • Growth has increased faster than process adaptation, resulting in inconsistent and inefficient operations which require urgent improvement.
  • There is a strong desire to simplify and digitize the company's laboratory processes, but it is unclear where and how to start.
  • The workload and dissatisfaction of laboratory employees is growing. A clear initiative is therefore needed as to how the problems are to be solved. Digitisation is part of this solution.
  • Internal capacities are already committed. An experienced laboratory partner is needed for planned digitisation projects who can operate on an equal footing with the lab's own team.

Our Success Stories

  • Short Time-to-Market

Sartorius – 46% Increased efficiency with the right laboratory strategy

With the aim of increasing the efficiency of its own R&D and QM laboratories, we assessed existing processes, IT systems and challenges faced by the laboratory staff. Based on the findings, we created a strategy and action plan. This enabled Sartorius to increase the efficiency of its laboratories by 46%. Other benefits include reducing the workload of employees and improving data quality. Contact us

  • Increased Customer Satisfaction

amedes –Conception of a standardized order entry system

The goal of amedes was to replace the multiple order entry systems of its laboratories with a uniform, high-performance and user-friendly order entry system. We recorded the order processes of all departments, analysed essential components of daily business and defined the technological requirements for the new order entry system. Contact us

  • Certification of an existing IT System

Neo New Oncology - Validation of IT systems and certification according to ISO 17025

Neo New Oncology had an existing IT system environment for the lab but needed retrospective validation in preparation for their ISO 17205 certification. After analysing and optimising their IT-supporting business processes, a pragmatic validation strategy was developed that included infrastructure qualification. Subsequently, the laboratory was successfully certified according to ISO 17205. Contact us
