adesso strengthens process industry segment and at-tends ACHEMA 2022 with OrgaTech SEC

adesso is expanding its expertise in the manufacturing industry through strategic co-operation with the process industry experts at OrgaTech Solution Engineering Consult-ing (SEC) GmbH. This means customers in the process industry will receive advice and software for process engineering and technology from a single source going forward. The partners will make their first joint appearance at ACHEMA 2022 in Frankfurt. At the world’s leading trade show for the process industries, adesso and OrgaTech SEC will present their portfolio having to do with all aspects of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IoT) for manufacturers and service providers.

adesso and OrgaTech SEC will join with other members and partners of the 4.OPMC – Open Production and Maintenance Community at the 4.OPMC Area in Hall 11.0 to present their offerings in the area of production and maintenance for companies in the process industry. This industry includes companies from the chemical, pharmacy, food and gas sectors, of whom a number of well-known corporate groups are already among the customers of OrgaTech SEC and adesso. OrgaTech SEC, a certified software company and consultancy, is viewed as a digital pioneer and proven specialist in industrial service and maintenance. It offers business and process advice in the fields of sales, logistics, maintenance, and facility management.

The solutions and products from adesso and OrgaTech SEC complement each other, offering promising new options for the process industry. For example, industrial machinery, systems, and facilities can be serviced and maintained proactively thanks to smart use of measurement and production data. The partners can provide ultra-efficient predictive maintenance by combining OrgaTech’s CALATENA integration solution with the adesso IoT platform. This minimises disruption times during operation and unlocks the possibility of cost savings.

Especially in tandem with adesso’s expertise in the specific fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing and big data analytics, this will open up attractive new business potential for industrial customers. The partners plan to demonstrate solutions from their portfolio at ACHEMA 2022, using smart, IoT-based access authorisation for industrial facilities for inspection, service and repairs as an example.

David Märte heads the Manufacturing Industry business unit at adesso: "Industrial customers can tap into new, attractive business potential through the interaction of the OrgaTech portfolio with adesso's expertise, especially in terms of artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing and big data analytics." Bernhard Kurpicz, founder and managing director of OrgaTech SEC GmbH, is active in industry bodies such as the DIN Standards Committee Service (NADL), so he is involved in developing new standards for this industrial sector. He describes the cooperation with adesso as a perfect fit: “We’re looking forward to working with a major IT player like adesso. Many user companies in the process industry see the Internet of Things and smart products as applications of the future in their industry, since they will be major factors determining a company’s competitiveness and economic prospects. We will be joining forces at ACHEMA to demonstrate things like how methods of predictive maintenance can help to boost productivity on a lasting basis, reduce downtime, cut maintenance costs and extend machine run times, even though forward-looking investments in the solutions needed for this will have to be made first, of course.”

adesso and OrgaTech SEC invite customers and prospective customers to visit them at ACHEMA 2022 in Frankfurt am Main from 22 to 26 August. At the joint 4.OPMC booth in Hall 11.0, booth E60, the partners will be presenting their connected solutions for efficiently shaping the future in the fields of production and maintenance. Further information:, appointments available at

The 4.OPMC e.V. network is a cross-industry community of representatives of the business and research sectors. Their mission is to work together to identify digitalisation-related topics in the areas of production and maintenance, devise innovative solutions and establish the technical conditions needed to put those solutions into practice efficiently.
