adesso and Delos Cloud Join Forces to Deliver Secure Cloud Solutions for the Public Sector

IT service provider adesso is entering into a partnership with Delos Cloud GmbH. The company is thereby expanding its portfolio of sovereign cloud solutions to include an offering specifically aimed at government agencies, local authorities and public sector service providers. As a service partner, adesso will in future support customers with consultancy, architecture and implementation of Delos Cloud solutions. In the medium term, the partners plan to expand the collaboration to include managed services and reselling. The aim is to create a comprehensive, end-to-end portfolio that enables adesso to offer its customers the full range of services they have come to expect.

The Delos Cloud is based on Microsoft technology and forms part of SAP’s Sovereign Cloud Stack. It combines the innovative power of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 with stringent requirements for data protection, IT security and confidentiality: customer data remains exclusively on German soil, and operations are physically separated from Microsoft. The basis for this is a trust model established in Germany: Microsoft technology, with operations and data control handled exclusively by the German company Delos Cloud GmbH. The solution fits seamlessly into the multi-cloud approach of the German Public Administration Cloud Strategy (DVS). Through this partnership, adesso is expanding its existing portfolio to include a cloud service that enables customers to operate traditional public cloud services as well as Microsoft 365 independently and in compliance with even strict regulatory requirements.
