Strategic decision: Tobias Truhn joins the Supervisory Board

A special vote of confidence in our successful collaboration: Tobias Truhn, Business Line Lead Utilities at adesso, has been confirmed as a member of the Supervisory Board at CURSOR Software AG. The official appointment on 8 July 2025 underscores the strategic importance of our partnership and the commitment of both companies to jointly advance the digitalisation of the energy industry.

Thanks to Tobias' expertise in the utilities sector and his in-depth knowledge of the challenges facing the energy industry, CURSOR will benefit from valuable strategic input. At the same time, this close connection enables even better coordination within the partnership to jointly drive forward the further development of forward-looking CRM solutions.

Knowledge transfer at the highest level: First external training course successfully completed

adesso and Cursor have been offering internal and external training courses for a long time. The new onboarding model will enable new synergies to be exploited and experience to be shared between the two organisations.

Another milestone in this collaboration was the first external basic training course on the energy industry, which adesso conducted at CURSOR. During this intensive two-day training course, I imparted in-depth industry knowledge – from electricity transmission and distribution networks to metering point operation and sales.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive: the participants showed great curiosity and commitment, while the training significantly deepened their understanding of the complex value chain of the energy industry. This expertise is essential for the targeted further development of CRM solutions such as EVI and TINA and for tailoring them even more precisely to the needs of energy suppliers and network operators.

The workshops take place regularly and offer a platform for exchanging best practices and further developing test standards. During the sessions, innovations in the CURSOR Test Studio are presented, experiences are shared and adesso contributes targeted consulting approaches to support customers in optimising their test processes.

Joint innovation: SAP standard interface for EVI

The partnership is particularly innovative in the joint development of an SAP S4/HANA Utilities standard interface for the CURSOR CRM system EVI. This technical advancement makes it possible to scale the solution even better and integrate it seamlessly into existing SAP landscapes.
