Quick connections to future partners

The challenge

Verti added to its years of experience and expertise as a digital brand in the motor vehicle segment by taking its first step into the German life insurance market with the introduction of term life insurance. The fully digital way for direct customers in the term life insurance business to conclude contracts, which includes binding pricing and an online risk assessment, should now also be made available for the B2B channel. For this purpose, Verti used the market standard BiPRO to launch their service to create more efficient processes for and faster connections to future partners through standardisation.

The solution

The sub-processes for pricing, offer and application as well as for document exchange were implemented to improve communication with brokers. For this purpose, interfaces to BiPRO standards 340 (questions and answers), 422 (life services) and 430 (data and documents) were established. The TAA and document services were also developed further.

The implementation of a digital conclusion process was based on the b-tix BiPRO client for connected brokers. For broker sales, the fully digital end-to-end route for taking out term life insurance, which includes all the risk and health questions that have to be taken into account, was put into production. Generated applications can now be submitted digitally with binding pricing.

adesso created the technical concept, which includes mapping, rule definition, the creation of the BiPRO product model and reports as well as the modelling of the TAA processes. BiPRO services were supported, stabilised and further developed. The requirements were set by the department (getOffer) as well as by cooperation partners (iptiQ Magnum Releases).
