Implementation of the Ibexa DXP 3.3 multi-client platform

Mediengruppe Bayern

Challenge

Mediengruppe Bayern worked with four different content management systems (CMS), which needed to be unified on one CMS. This had to be integrated seamlessly into the internal system landscape. The main goal was to optimise the editorial processes and make it much easier to maintain the pages and content. For this purpose, several publishing portals were consolidated into the Ibexa system. These publishing portals include the following news websites:

  • PNP.de
  • Wochenblatt.de
  • Ingolstadttoday.de
  • Donaukurier.de
  • Heimatsport.de

Solution

The project included replacing several outdated CMS systems and relaunching five publishing portals on the modern Ibexa DXP 3.3 platform. In the process, the website experts in adesso’s Digital Experience business unit performed various integrations such as the headless integration of app views and the complete system integration into the existing system landscape, including an external editorial system and DPA interface.
