adesso sets new record in training year 2020/21

Times are tough for trainees. The coronavirus has led to a reduction in training opportunities throughout the economy. Companies with reduced working hours are not creating new jobs – particularly for apprentices. That is not the case at adesso. The IT service provider has just filled 20 positions for trainees and students on cooperative degree courses for the training year from summer 2020. A further ten roles for trainee IT specialists and students on cooperative degree courses in IT have yet to be filled, increasing trainee ratio at the company to a new high.

adesso modernises LOTTO Thüringen’s internet presence

Today LOTTO Thüringen launched its new modern internet presence. The website for Thüringen’s state lottery was again designed and implemented by IT service provider adesso. Following the development of its online presence in 2012, the relaunch is the second major portal design contract the company has awarded to the lottery solutions experts at adesso.

The extensive disruption caused by the digital transformation is currently accelerating at an unprecedented rate. With funding from the German Federal Employment Agency: make the crisis a chance for further IT training - Online campus from XU Group and adesso ensures companies are “digitally fit”

adesso is extending its collaboration with the Berlin-based XU Group GmbH. The initiator of Germany’s first state-accredited university for digitalisation and technology, XU Exponential University of Applied Sciences, has now teamed up with adesso to offer companies training programmes for the digitalisation experts and job profiles of tomorrow. Companies can currently make good use of these services for the further training of their employees who are subject to short-time work and benefit from a subsidy from the Federal Employment Agency. The Federal Government’s recently expanded “Work of Tomorrow Act” (Arbeit-von-morgen-Gesetz) makes this possible.

adesso and the Cologne-based start-up PBM Personal Business Machine AG have signed a sales and development partnership for the insurance and banking industries. The core of the alliance is a cloud-based platform for personalised digital dialogue with customers, which can help solve the current problems faced by banks in times of social distancing. adesso is informing potential customers about the platform with its #rettetdenVertrieb campaign.

esso increases sales and EBITDA to new record highs of EUR 449.7 million and EUR 48.1 million respectively in 2019

Today adesso SE published its consolidated financial statements, which largely confirm the preliminary figures published on 17 February 2020 and exceed its full-year forecast for 2019. Sales increased again, by 20 % to EUR 449.7 million, following a strong final quarter, with significant licence revenues from the in|sure product family and a further noticeable increase in capacity utilisation in the parent company adesso SE’s IT service business.

For the third time already, the IT service provider adesso has taken first place in the Great Place to Work® competition, as Germany’s Best Employer (Deutschlands Bester Arbeitgeber) in the ITC sector (size category: more than 1,000 employees). In February, adesso won the cross-sector competition, beating the 840 participating companies from all industries and of all sizes, making it the proud holder of the title Germany’s Best Employer (Deutschlands Bester Arbeitgeber) in the size category 2,001 to 5,000 employees.
