The aim of the project was to enable modern knowledge management in the company without taking the risks of freely available AI tools. “We wanted to avoid our employees needing to rely on insecure AI applications,” explains Sascha Bocksnick, Managing Director of ZAKB. “With adessoGPT, we are able to provide knowledge securely while significantly increasing our efficiency – without the risk of data leakage or compliance violations.”
The chatbot is structured in line with the ZAKB corporate design and accesses internal data sources such as SharePoint Online. The underlying infrastructure runs on Azure services and ensures that no prompts or data are transmitted to external models. In this way, ZAKB retains control over its own data. When working with the chatbot, integrated access rights ensure that only authorised persons have access to the respective content.
Shortly after go-live, the chatbot based on adessoGPT became the central point of entry for information searches. The solution is available to all employees with PC access and is used across all departments – especially where internal information needs to be accessed frequently. Further use cases are in preparation and are being developed by adesso with ZAKB in order to further scale the solution within the company.
“adessoGPT enables us to utilise our internal knowledge efficiently. The solution helps us to cope with increasing complexity and keep fee-related costs stable for the benefit of our customers,” explains Bocksnick.
