This year the IT service provider adesso AG will again present its digitalisation solutions at E-world energy & water 2018, the leading trade fair for the energy and water industries. From 6 to 8 February 2018, companies from the energy sector and its service providers will travel to Essen to discuss the future of energy provision.

The IT service provider adesso AG has increased its shares in Dortmund-based com2m GmbH from just under 25 percent to a majority shareholding of now roughly 60 percent. com2m specialises in the internet of things (IoT) and machine-to-machine communication (M2M). This means equipping machines, devices and other items with sensors and connecting them with each other in the pursuit of new business models. com2m’s core product is a scalable IoT platform for developing and operating IoT and Industry 4.0 solutions.

It was a very special moment for adesso when senior UX designer Michael Schiblon started his new position on 2 January 2018 – because Schiblon is adesso’s 3,000th employee. This figure symbolises the huge increase in the number of employees at the IT provider which is systematically implementing its ambitious growth plans.

The project has a term of 20 months and a contract volume of EUR 2.4 million.

The new accident insurance inventory control system successfully came online on 12 December 2017 thanks to the partnership between INTER Versicherungsgruppe and adesso insurance solutions GmbH. The entire contract inventory for new business is now managed using the new in|sure General Policy system.
