The Helvetia Porta, Online-Extranet and Leben MaklerService Plattform sales systems are operated in parallel and are technically outdated. The plan was to replace them with a newly developed, central, modern and future-proof HelvetiaNet broker platform. Development of the new system was to focus on process integration between VM and central systems. adesso developed a professional and technical vision as well as a suitable architecture for the new sales platform. The architecture integrated all of the peripheral systems and standards, re-using and incorporating existing Helvetianet and Helvetia Leben Maklerservice Plattform functions and data.

Result

The new customer portal represents the creation and expansion of the basis for a forward-looking sales solution. It supports the sales partners and increases earnings by integrating previously isolated applications for TAA, portfolio and claims information, electronic archiving, commissions calculations, the storing of acquisition data and consolidated processing for outside sales employees. It also provides a TAA online process with MVP connectivity and black-box processing.

Helvetia is a Swiss insurance company with operations throughout Europe. The insurer was restructured into a holding company in 1996. Helvetia is headquartered in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
