Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) has arrived, and it’s already being used to power the business engine room and, increasingly, as the central infrastructure for value creation. However, as its use becomes more widespread, two fundamental tensions are coming to light. On the one hand, there is a growing gap between what companies regard as progress when using GenAI in customer interactions and the customers’ actual experiences. On the other hand, despite how often it is used, in many organisations, the use of GenAI remains limited to efficiency and optimisation initiatives, rather than being consistently embedded at the heart of value creation.

adesso SE is continuing its international expansion by entering the Greek market. In partnership with OneDealer Holdings SA, the IT service provider is establishing a new subsidiary, adesso Greece S.A., which will be based in Athens. From April 2026, this latest addition to the adesso Group will be responsible for developing business in Greece as an independent go-to-market and delivery unit.

IT service provider adesso has confirmed its preliminary figures for 2025, published in February, with the presentation of its consolidated financial statements. Despite a challenging general economic climate throughout the year, adesso succeeded in increasing revenue organically by 14 per cent to 1.47 billion euro (previous year: 1.29 billion euro). In doing so, the company achieved a 30 per cent improvement in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) to 123.6 million Euro (previous year: 94.8 million Euro). adesso has thus slightly exceeded the 2025 revenue forecast range and achieved an operating profit at the upper end of the forecast range.
