We receive the ‘Total E-Quality’ award

We are not resting on our laurels

It is a good feeling when your efforts are appreciated. That is why we were incredibly pleased when the jury of Total E-Quality Deutschland e.V. informed us that we would be receiving the Total E-Quality award.

This award does not mark the end of our work here – but it is a reason for us to strengthen our commitment. This is because we, just like our society, want to keep making progress with regard to diversity.

The background

The panel’s verdict

In its assessment, the jury praised adesso’s far-reaching commitment to greater diversity. The independent panel was particularly impressed by the way the company values all of its employees, something which has always been a firm foundation in its corporate culture, the company’s awareness that everyday life is very different for different people, its programmes to break down unconscious stereotypes and the increase in the proportion of women in management positions, including the option of working part time.

Total E-Quality Deutschland e.V.

Founded in 1996 by members including the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the association awards prizes to organisations from the private sector, science and administration that successfully promote an equal working environment in their personnel and organisational policies.

The Total E-Quality award

Organisations from the private sector, science and administration and associations with a minimum of 15 employees can apply for the award.

Your application for the Total E-Quality award must demonstrate how equal opportunities and diversity are anchored and practised in your organisation. The award focuses on successfully implementing gender equality and diversity following an intersectional and inclusive approach.

>> Our greatest similarity is that we are all different from each other. And that is a benefit, as the more diverse the range of individual points of view and experiences we bring to the table, the more it enriches us on both a personal and professional level.
