Karstadt is expanding its online shop into a networked marketplace. The group has engaged adesso as its lead IT service provider for their e-commerce offensive.
The adesso Group will support the further development of karstadt.de into an online marketplace as lead IT service provider. The Group is contributing with its full IT expertise: As well as adesso AG, the subsidiaries ARITHNEA, e-Spirit and adesso mobile solutions are also involved in the IT project Along with individual projects such as web shop modernisation, development of an efficient content management system and front-end optimisation for various end-user devices from PCs to smartphones, adesso will coordinate IT measures relating to the expansion of the range available from the karstadt.de web shop.
Dirk Hoffmann has been the Karstadt account manager since the beginning of the cooperation: “adesso has developed an IT portfolio that brick-and-mortar retailers can use to remain attractive to customers.
