To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the IT service provider will play host to software experts from the fields of academia and industry at an international conference in Essen’s Zollverein on 16 November 2017 that boasts high-calibre speakers. The title says it all: adesso has succeeded in attracting leading international representatives in science and research as keynote speakers to accompany the guests on a thoroughly exciting day. These experts from the fields of education and research will cover the entire spectrum of the “essence of software engineering” – from the discipline’s pioneering foundations to the state-of-the-art, current trends and visions of the future in software development. adesso is hosting this exclusive event to address business decision-makers in the areas of IT, application development, software engineering and software architecture for companies as well as members of the international software engineering community at university level.
The organisers and guests are particularly looking forward to presentations by the following renowned software engineering experts: Prof. Leon J. Osterweil of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Prof. Ivar Jacobson of the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Prof. Richard N. Taylor of the University of California, Irvine, Prof. Bertrand Meyer of the ETH Zurich, Prof. Carlo Ghezzi of the Politecnico Milano and Prof. Manfred Broy, a recent lecturer and researcher at the Institute for Systems and Software Engineering of the Technical University of Munich.
