MediOne is a state-of-the-art communication solution for healthcare facilities, such as medical practices and hospitals, that not only connects them to each other, but also to their patients via an app. It is intuitive to use, fast, immediate and adapted to the needs of all those involved. Security and data protection are also a top priority for the app.
By establishing MediOne GmbH, adesso became an active player in the dynamic e-health sector. Together with the GP Dr Ralph Jäger, healthcare experts at adesso founded a start-up that launched an innovative communication solution on the market in June 2018. At the heart of the solution is a messenger service that greatly simplifies communication between patients, medical clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, physiotherapists and other healthcare facilities. Instead of being put on hold, waiting for a return call for hours or having to travel specially to the clinic, participants can simply chat to one another via MediOne.
You can choose between a smartphone app or a desktop application. Both were developed by adesso with the medical and professional support of Dr Jäger.
MediOne is not just about making communication between medical clinics and their patients easier. Because a great number of facilities in the healthcare sector can be integrated, it is also about developing a professional medical network. The patient is able to save various information and documents centrally using MediOne and access them at all times.
MediOne enables all those involved to benefit from the advantages offered by a method of communication that is already commonly used in daily life – mobility, improved accessibility, high flexibility and speed are among this solution’s plus points.
The first version of the app (referred to as ‘re:Doc’) has been undergoing testing at Dr Jäger’s joint practices for the last year, to much success. The results show that this app could be used to greatly reduce administrative work for all those involved.
This underlines our top priority, which is to create more time for healthcare and for medical professionals to do their jobs.
