BiPRO Adapter for Microsoft BizTalk

adesso has developed a module for the EAI- and BPM Server Biz Talk based on the insurance industry standard BiPRO. This is how insurance companies can accelerate the data exchange between customers and partners.

The Industry Initiative Process Optimisation (BiPRO), a registered society of the German insurance companies, standardises the data models and automates business processes between insurance companies and their respective partners. The standard of the same name clearly defines the technical interfaces. The BiPRO model defines processes such as setting of insurance rates, preparation of an offer and an application or the handling of failures as well as basic service authentication and security.

Reference Implementation for Process Server BizTalk

As a member of the BiPRO society adesso participates in the development of standards for data modelling and for IT process interfaces. For the Microsoft Process Server Biz Talk we realised a reference implementation based on the current BiPRO norms. During development and in sales we closely cooperate with Microsoft. The module first of all verifies topic-specific correctness and completeness of the standard-conform data after having received them. Subsequently, further company-specific data will be added, if required. Finally the combined information will be filed in the data format of the insurer.
