We conceptualise and develop application systems according to customer specifications in a very broad professional spectrum by making use of the respectively existing application development or operating platform. adesso employs experienced developers in the fields of COBOL, PL1, RPG, EGL, /370-Assembler on IBM and Siemens Mainframes (z/OS, MVS, z/VSE, OS/400, BS2000, etc.)

Servicing and Maintenance of Legacy Applications

adesso supports the maintenance and further developments of legacy systems, even if these are badly documented or not at all. In terms of service-oriented architectures adesso converts such systems into usable modern applications.

Performance Analyses

adesso carries out architecture and code analyses of complex application systems and implements proposals on request. In doing so, databases in use are optimised at the same time.

Migrations

We take on system migrations, such as, for example, the code migration of complete application systems based on the VisualAge Generator according to EGL.

System Conversions

In the field of system conversions we transfer, for example, a CICS-application with data keeping in VSAM to an IMS application with data keeping in DB2.
