adesso wins European-wide tender of Agrarmarkt Austria in the amount of EUR 6 million

Dortmund/Vienna, 07 January 2010 – adesso Austria GmbH will be the exclusive software development partner of Agrarmarkt Austria (AMA), Vienna, for another period of five years. adesso won the European-wide tender of the Austrian federal organisation and pay office responsible for market regulations and market interventions. The order value amounts to EUR 6 million. This is an important basis for the further development of adesso’s business activities in Austria.

Within the public sector Agrarmarkt Austria is responsible for all agricultural matters, including e.g. the central market and price reporting, the regulation of milk quota, licensing issues as well as the handling of efficiency payments, grant programmes and compensation payments. The software and database systems of AMA require processes that are designed flexibly and subject-specifically. The AMA systems support more than 100 different grant programmes for which numerous new rules have to be implemented yearly. The required developments related to these programmes provide the basis for a reliable recording and processing of grant proposals.
