GLANCE AG now trades under the name of adesso Schweiz AG

Steinmaur, 21 May 2007 – Since May 4, 2007 GLANCE AG trades under the new name “adesso Schweiz AG”. As a subsidiary of the BOV group, Germany, the company name has been adapted with respect to the upcoming merger of BOV AG and adesso AG. Under the new name the company intends to offer the present IT services for optimizing business processes, consultancy, software development and system integration. In the future customers of the adesso Schweiz AG will benefit from additional capacities as well as an extended service portfolio, which will be available with a total of 400 members of staff within the adesso group. At the same time adesso Schweiz AG announces current incoming orders for 2007 worth 6.8m CHF.

With the planned merger of adesso AG and BOV AG in Germany, which is to be expected already this year, numerous new opportunities open up for adesso Schweiz AG - such as entering the international market. Even now the development of the company can be seen as remarkable. As a matter of fact already in the first quarter of 2007 adesso Schweiz AG was able to attract numerous new projects from well-known customers such as Swiss Life, Winterthur Versicherungen, Credit Suisse, MeteoSchweiz as well as the Federal Office for Statistics. In addition to this, numerous existing contracts such as with IBM, ABB, the Swiss Post and the University Hospital of Zurich were renewed. The extended requirements in the major software project “Vista” account for a large share of the additional order volume. By order of IBM Switzerland, Glance has participated for many years in the development of a solution for the process support of the Swiss social insurances.

The high level of orders on hand and additional incoming order require adesso Schweiz AG to increase the number of employees by qualified software developers at the company headquarters. With effect from January 1, 2007 adesso Schweiz AG took over the development team of the Winterthur subsidiary of ISKV GmbH, Essen. The takeover opens up new perspectives for the developers for the time after having completed the large project “iskv_21c”. The focus of this project is the development of a new inventory system for the statutory health insurance.
