adesso AG opens location in Hamburg

Dortmund/Hamburg, 19 December 2007 – adesso AG, a listed IT service provider with a focus on consultancy and software development opens a new subsidiary in Hamburg. With from now on six locations in Germany the company commands a national presence and reinforces its proximity to customers in North Germany such as DAK, Deutscher Ring, Ethalon, ERGO Versicherungsgruppe, Volksfürsorge as well as Lotto Hamburg and Lotto Bremen. The adesso branch in Hamburg is also intended to support its cooperation with the new subsidiary Sitgate located in Hamburg, and at the same time the consultancy business in the sectors banking and insurances is expanded, too.

Dr. Rüdiger Striemer, member of the adesso executive board, describes the overall strategic objectives: “The new location in Hamburg is a further building block in our growth strategy. Apart from the increasing internationalisation of our business as through projects in Russia and Spain, we intend to continuously expand our presence in the German-speaking regions.”

Apart from the German locations Dortmund, Cologne, Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin and Hamburg adesso is also represented with a branch in Zurich.
