In 2008 adesso AG develops software into the millions for the major customer ISKV GmbH

Dortmund, 29 January 2008– adesso AG received development and consultancy orders of 7.3m € in total for the year 2008. With the participation of at times up to 50 experts from adesso AG, clear development activities as well as services in the field of project management and consultancy concerning architecture and processes have been agreed.

Focus is the support of customers of the ISKV in the rollout of the overarching information system “iskv_21c” through which the administration and information processes of more than 200 statutory health insurance companies are to be handled. With an application covering 90 percent of all statutory health insurance companies in Germany and with an administrative volume of about 20 m people insured adesso, therefore, has a substantial share in one of the biggest German software development projects.

As a strategic development partner adesso has accompanied the setting up of that system since 2002 and thus has the expertise in preparing health insurance companies for the organisation of the rollout and for working with the system on a daily basis. This especially includes the analysis of the existing application environment while considering additional specialist programmes of the insurance companies as well as the extension and alignment of the systems with regard to necessary interfaces for “iskv_21c”. ISKV GmbH is the software and system house of company or craft guild health insurances as well as of some substitute health insurance companies.
