adesso Schweiz AG New Member of the Association IG B2B for Insurers + Brokers

Zurich/Dortmund, 09 July 2009 – adesso Schweiz AG intensifies its activities in the insurance sector, being a new member of the association IG B2B for Insurers + Brokers. adesso will be involved in the several work groups of the IG B2B and uses its expertise to help IG B2B achieving its objectives.

The IT service provider adesso supports standardization and process optimization in various industries. Since 2006 adesso has already been a member of the ”Brancheninitiative zur Prozessoptimierung” (BiPRO, a sector-specific initiative for process optimization) in Germany. BiPRO is a consortium of insurance companies, sales organizations, producers of broker software and service providers for brokers. The initiative’s purpose is to elaborate on the professional and technical standards for optimizing business processes on a cross-company scale.

IG B2B for Insurers + Brokers follows similar purposes in Switzerland. It has been founded in order to conjointly elaborate on the basic principles of a standardized electronic data exchange for the broker industry.
