in|SIGHT Tools for the GDV-Standard & BiPRO Support

With the in|SIGHT-Tools adesso offers a Java-based product family for the GDV-standard allowing insurers, sales representatives as well as cooperation partners and brokers in particular to use GDV datasets efficiently.

So far there is no silver bullet for the data transport: e-mails, disks or CDs are distributed to brokers and sales representatives in various time frames. The diverse import processes required for this are prone to errors and are service intensive. Brokers and sales representatives have severe acceptance problems due to a lack of infrastructure and non-defined distribution intervals resulting from data loss and corrupt data stock. Insurance companies face an increase in additional expenditure of time for support and data control.

That is the reason why adesso developed the in|SIGHT-tools. These tools optimise the current procedure by means of various components, tailor-made for brokers and insurers. They minimise potential sources of error and ensure a high and modern availability of the latest data and reduce the effort invested in data capturing and data control.

BiPRO-standards Improve the Cooperation in Sales Activities of Brokers and Insurance Companies

Standardising data models and automating business processes between brokers and insurance companies still offer a high potential for optimisation. adesso supports companies in exploiting this potential based on the standards of the industry initiative for process optimisation (BiPRO) which is a registered society.

The standards developed by BiPRO are based on the GDV-standards, but, in addition, include specifications necessary for implementing technical interfaces. So far, fields of application such as rating, drawing up offers and applications as well as failure processing but also the underlying standards such as authentication and consultancy services are standardised. adesso is a BiPRO-member and contributes to the standards for data modelling and the implementation of IT process interfaces. adesso developed the BiPRO-adapter for BizTalk in order to display the BiPRO data and standards on the basis of the Microsoft BizTalk Server.
